Kal’s Cycle and Beach Shop
Here’s the spot for those eager cyclists wanting to “deck-out” their bike of perhaps purchase a snazzy beach cruiser. Standup Paddleboards are a new item to the water adventurer. Clearwater Designs, a County manufacturer, has granted the status of Authorized Dealer to KAL’s. Drop by to see the boards and chat about this fast growing sport.
Sweet Shoppe
Excellent selection of old-fashioned candies, fudge (many flavours!), tea balls (My Cup of Tea), wellness teas, local maple syrup in Italian-made decorative glass bottle, locally made jams, jellies and relishes.
Wellington Wellies
Classy rainboots in the style of cowboy boots were the original items stocked in this shop. However, many more items have been added that are unique. Take a look at items from Hatley, Melissa and Doug, Hoselton, Spoontiques as well as graceful and colourful tablecloths and napkins. Upstairs, there is a gift shop that features super gift items. Treat yourself or find something very different for that special event/person.
SideStreet Gallery 264 Main St.
With a passion for art and history, Paulette Greer found the perfect location to open up her gallery. SideStreet Gallery is situated on the top floor of a building that dates back to the early 1860’s. Paulette says it’s important for people to know that Wellington and Prince Edward County have a lot to offer. At the moment SideStreet Gallery showcases 70 artists, of which 90 per cent of them are artists from Prince Edward County. SideStreet Gallery is one of 22 destinations you can experience on The County’s newly launched Arts Trail.
The Carriage House Cooperage 326 Second Ave.
Appropriately situated in the village of Wellington, Prince Edward County, Ontario and an integral part of the Grist Mill Studios, the cooperage, using both local and imported oak is fast becoming the supplier of choice for many of the “superstar” wineries of this new VQA region.
Margaret McFetridge, Painter 71 Consecon Street
Large exuberant oil paintings and small exquisite watercolours, featured in the “Bloomin’ Barn Studio – Gallery”. Situated in the garden of a century home in the Village of Wellington, Prince Edward County. The elegant paintings against the battered barn boards is a delightful eyeful.

Armstrong Glassworks has been relocated and renamed after twelve years as Bloomfield Glassworks. The Glassblowing Studio and Gallery is now located in the beautiful village of Wellington on the shores of Lake Ontario. The Gallery features fine hand-crafted blown glass by Mark Armstrong, ideal for the collector or gift-giver.
