Black Prince Winery was conceived in 2000 by John Sambrook and Geoffrey Webb. They wanted to establish a winery in this lovely, picturesque area of Prince Edward County, a region that has the viticultural landscape to produce first-rate wines. They chose Picton, conveniently located in the heart of this region.

Scooperman Ice Cream Parlor has been a destination point in Picton, Ontario since the summer of 1996. Serving 24 flavours of Hard Ice Cream, Vanilla Soft Ice Cream, approximately 250 different combinations of Frozen Yogurt as well as Milkshakes, Sundaes, Banana Splits and the Scooperman Storm.
