The Oeno Gallery exhibits contemporary art by artists from Bloomfield and other parts of Canada. Located in the heart of wine country in beautiful Prince Edward County.

Elements Glass Studio   305 Main Street
Elements Glass Studio is located in a small century old carriage house in the quaint village of Bloomfield. Caroline Shuttle creates glass art ranging from originally designed stained glass panels to gorgeous kiln formed glass bowls and platters. Kiln casting and glass sculpture are her latest interests. Caroline Shuttle’s award winning work is found in homes and offices from coast to coast as well as many other countries.

Space for artists to live, research, investigate and experiment. We aim to encourage discovery and the cultivation of new ideas, provide career-building opportunities for artists at all stages, and to engage with the community through the arts.

Margaret McFetridge, Painter   71 Consecon Street
Large exuberant oil paintings and small exquisite watercolours, featured in the “Bloomin’ Barn Studio – Gallery”. Situated in the garden of a century home in the Village of Wellington, Prince Edward County. The elegant paintings against the battered barn boards is a delightful eyeful.

Armstrong Glassworks  326 Second Ave.
Armstrong Glassworks has been relocated and renamed after twelve years as Bloomfield Glassworks. The Glassblowing Studio and Gallery is now located in the beautiful village of Wellington on the shores of Lake Ontario. The Gallery features fine hand-crafted blown glass by Mark Armstrong, ideal for the collector or gift-giver.

SideStreet Gallery  264 Main St.
With a passion for art and history, Paulette Greer found the perfect location to open up her gallery. SideStreet Gallery is situated on the top floor of a building that dates back to the early 1860’s. Paulette says it’s important for people to know that Wellington and Prince Edward County have a lot to offer. At the moment SideStreet Gallery showcases 70 artists, of which 90 per cent of them are artists from Prince Edward County. SideStreet Gallery is one of 22 destinations you can experience on The County’s newly launched Arts Trail.

Bloomfield Studios & Galleys  65 Barkers Lane
Established in 2002, Bloomfield Studios is home to glass artist Mel Wilder’s Spirits in Glass and his wife Colleen’s Nightshade Fine Arts. Here, amidst an artistic melieu of glass blowing, flamework, sand casting, lampwork beads, jewellery designs and fine art, you will find owners Mel and Colleen Wilder doing what they love to do while allowing visitors an opportunity to see “artists at work”.

Red Roof Gallery   2920 County Road 7
A noted Prince Edward County watercolour artist, Ron Pickering is very active in the local artistic community exhibiting his work at a variety of venues throughout the area. He has won several awards at the annual Prince Edward County Fair art exhibition including “Artist of the Year 2002” and the “People’s Choice Award” at Expressions 2006, Quinte Arts Council for his painting, entitled “Resting”.

Graham Davies a Welsh-born Canadian photographer is still committed to B&W film and darkroom work for fine art images. He believes a great image comes from the heart and eye of an artist, and owes little to expensive equipment. Located in Cherry Valley, ON, specializing in fine art black & white photography. County, international landscapes and portraits. Portrait and fine art images are shot on black and white film and hand printed.

Art in the County  Old Town Hall ( above the Firehall ) King & Ross Street
Each year, Art in the County displays the highest quality of work from County artists and artisans. All of the art displayed is carefully chosen by three distinguished and experienced art experts who are professionally qualified jurors. This annual event is held in Picton’s Old Town Hall above the Firehall at King and Ross Streets. The exhibition is a highlight of the summer season in Prince Edward County, attracting residents from around the Quinte area and visitors from across Canada, many US states, Europe, Asia and Australia.
